This is a day hike near Pemberton BC. One of the steepest hikes I think I’ve ever done – 21 ks return – 10.5 straight up and 10.5 straight down (killer on the knees on the way down). The trail follows a cascading waterfall that goes on for kilometre after kilometre leading to an incredible glacier at the summit of the hike. Lots of fallen trees so you are going up and over or down and under depending on the height of the fallen tree. A few stream crossings that can be very difficult in late afternoon when the water is running deeper from melt.
