Spent the night in Lake Louise so we could get an early trail head start into the Chic a Boom area. We managed to leave the trail head at 7am giving us some nice light on the peaks on the way in. Beautiful day for a walk – sunny and warm. Good reconnaissance, made it up to a high point before skiing out the way we came. Have a much better idea of the terrain and route now to do the who traverse on our next trip in.
