Fisher Peak is the highest peak in the southern Rocky Mountains and one of those hikes that most people do once. I have been on the peak numerous times with different people. Tanglefoot is a must do in mid-summer when wildflowers are in bloom. It is incredible wildflower meadows dotted with numerous small lakes. You can camp in any meadow, near any lake. A day hike to the pass overlooking Dibble Glacier (the southern most glacier in the Canadian Rockies) is also a must do. Tanglefoot can be done as a day hike but camping in the meadows is just special.
