One the the most spectacular backpacks in the Canadian Rockies. My favourite is to go in from Sunshine Village in the fall when the larches have changed colour. – longer hike but the views are well worth it.
Day 1 – Hike in from Sunshine, over citadel Pass and on to Og Lake where we spent the night. Then on to the campground at Mount Assiniboine the next morning.
Day 2 – Hike to Wonder Pass
Around camp and evening light on Mount Assiniboine.
Day 3 hike up to the Nub for photos
Day 4 – hike back out the same route we came in with a afternoon spent at Howard Douglas Lake
